NASA's Curiosity rover took a selfie just before breaking the record for the steepest terrain it has ever climbed. The Mars Hand Lens Imager camera on the end of the rover's robotic arm took 86 separate photos to create this panorama. Perseverance, NASA's Mars 2020 rover, will land on the Red Planet in 2020. Canada is involved in this groundbreaking project to collect, seal and store rock samples on Mars for possible return to Earth.
