This fun sport has grown in popularity over the past few decades, but it's also dangerous and demanding. Cheerleaders jump into action, filling the air with bodies to form tall structures, throwing each other up to 30 feet in the air, and relying on their fellow cheerleaders to safely ensure they land on their feet.


To ensure the routine runs smoothly, cheerleading requires precise acrobatics. It goes without saying that one mistake can result in broken legs, broken ribs, spinal injuries and bruising.
